The ethos behind Easy Hymns is to provide just that, hymns and praise songs which are easy for both the musicians and the congregation to learn. No pushing the congregation up into squeaking range and no guitarists scratching their heads while being too embarrassed to ask what is a Gdim? The songs on this site strike a balance between predictability and originality for it is written, or should be, that we are to be worship leaders and feeders not worship losers and confusers.
These songs are the work of John David Coupland a worship leader from Glasgow in Scotland. John has served as organist for some thirty years and has a background in guitar repairing, retailing, teaching and prior to conversion earned his living playing in Glasgow pubs.

Hit the Listen tab above and you will be taken to Mymusicstream.com where you may listen to and download for free over twenty of John’s songs.
Hitting the Store tab will take you to CDbaby where you can purchase higher quality downloads and physical cds.
CCLI numbers are for the yearly reports sent in by churches to register that they have used the songs in worship. If your church already pays a licence fee then the use of these songs will not increase your costs and reporting will keep John in guitar strings for another year.
